Our patients typically hear all about the cosmetic appeal Invisalign provides. However, we think it’s important to note that patients with overbites, underbites, and generally misaligned teeth can expect additional health benefits once their teeth are adjusted to a more comfortable orientation.
Take daily oral care for example. Crooked teeth are typically more difficult to clean because the smile lacks a smooth surface. Additionally, teeth that are growing in different directions creates more nooks and crannies for food debris to get caught in, forcing patients to be more diligent when brushing and flossing.
